Not sure if Eugene is on here but he takes part in King Fishers tonight at 8pm on National Geoghraphic. Worth a look.

Good show, fair play to Eugene too he did well :)
The swedish fella obviously didn't get the concept of it being a fishing competition though, everytime Eugene changed his tactics he accused him of cheating

Id seen the first 2 and enjoyed the format but apart from canada the fishing wasnt exactly great. Its a good tv show as its got something for everyone.
Last nights was the best so far. Again the fishing wasnt the best but at least they got fish at each location. Nice to see the crazy irishman win it but he had a slight advantage......everybody loves dingle and thats a great pub he brought them to:grin:
Well done eugene.

Yea it was very enjoyable alright, but I have a question.

I dont fish competitions but what happens here if someone caught a fish after the end?

Or quite simply what would your decision of been?

Lines up means lines up.When someone calls an end to a comp "everyone" has to reel in.If theres a fish on your last cast then happy days.Eugene made the right call,Vidar hadn't even started reeling in after the other lads were on dry dock.

Watched the first one and it was so bad i gave up after that. Did not realise it was different people each week.
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.

Just watched it there now. In Brandon! Love it. Glimpse of the best pub in the world to boot. Bit too rough for a bass but some nice flounder!

Not being smart Eugene a sound lad well liked by alot of people, he is very fair and he didn't pull a fast one at all, maybe the show was edited in a way to make it look like that?
