Report:Got a phone call from Kit Dunne from wicklow to say there was a spot left on his charter boat and jumped at the chance cause all i am hearing and seeing great reports from his boat and myself last year had great fishing from it so anyway i just wanted to try my new zziplex up tide rod and here's'was my chance so on the boat at 9.am off to the spot to try for some hounds but the hounds wasn't playing ball today so we tried for tope ,ray and bull huss we got 2 tope and missed about 6 also 2 big bull huss happy to say i got one of each and i am well pleased with the up tide rod i got and looking for next Saturday just hope the weather is good.

we were out on the Saturday with Kitt great day we had 15 Tope.

We were with joe on the Brazen Hussy yesterday (sunday) had a great day with 20 tope from 2lb to 30 lb. A few good bull huss one good ray(10lb). We would have done better if we had fresh mackerel, but in all it was a good day.

Hard to beleive that in late july that beteween 9 anglers that not one mackerell was cought.
