Bushwacker 3-18g

#1 Post by skateboy »

Hi Folks,
Just wondering if anyone has the Savage Gear Bushwaxker 3-18g. I have the 20-60 gram version and I love the bloody thing. I'm just wondeing how people find the lighter rod. Are there any problems with it etc? Just wondering as i'm after a new rod for chucking out the lighter sp's. If not the bushwacker then what? Budget is around €90.
Thanksa in advance for your replies.

Bought this rod two weeks ago I've had 5 sessions with it from the shore and the kayak. I've had bass, pollock and seatrout on it with no problems. It has a lovely action and is able to whack out lures slightly over its casting range 20g however I wouldn't recommend doing this. I heard people saying that they snapped them but so far so good. A great value rod IMO.
