Report: Nice day to be out. Sea was very calm. Pleanty of small pollack attacking lures at feet. Large Coalfish put up a good scrap.

Good to see some fish being caught down that part of the coast , Ballyhalbert pier is the nearest i have tried to your spot.

Glad to see fish being caught here, do you fish from the beach or the rocks. I would be at that beach often enough but have never noticed anyone fishing. Rob

Always fish off the rocks there are a few good marks some are hard to get to and can be dangerous in a swell but these tend to throw up better fish. Never fished the beach I'd expect there may be small flatties to be had off it. Saw a few little ones many years ago when I was a nipper messing around on the beach.

Thanks. Are you talking about the rocks at the far end of the beach away from the carpark, or do you mean on round by the houses and beyond where the road ends or sheepland ???

We're the road ends towards sheepland.Rocks towards Strangford can be OK at times but been a long time since I fished there.
