Fantastic night - all ducks lined up. Venue I have already blanked 10 times so far this year. Utter satisfaction.

Well done. You have to put the effort in to catch on a lure in Dublin. At least I do! But if can find them you can catch them...Lovely fish.

I've had a couple of good sessions on lures in South Dublin but I've also had a fair few blanks especially in early summer. I haven't really got it figured out yet. But in my experience (South Dublin) it seems to fish better towards the latter end of the season. But I have done more fishing down South so am no expert. If anyone else has better info or disagrees on the best time of year let us know!
