Monkstown Wall Cork

#1 Post by AnglingDan »

Hi Everyone,

Thinking of heading to Monkstown wall in Cork or Ballycotton at the weekend. Has anyone been down to either of those locations recently? Looking for Conger and anything else of note. Can't decide between the two.

Thanks Lads,

Only consider ballycotton in darkness unless you want a nervous breakdown with all the fluff chuckers who are extremely dangerous as no cop on at all judging by what I saw last weekend .

Took a spin down there a few years back. I sat back in amazement as no one got a hook in them. As soon as someone got a mack they were all running up to him and casting everywhere it was mental.

Yeah, I agree!!! The best time for that mark is at night! I generally only do night sessions, but don't get to head out much! Thanks for the feedback buys. I think as we are taking a proper bbq that we'll head to Monkstown this weekend. The tides will be right for congers and I'll go to the small pier at Ballycotton in August!

Thanks again lads!
