Report: another quick report were were out last thursday and they were asking to go out again so how could i say NO, i headed off early this morning to launch at 8.30 to make the tide told the two crew to meet me at the harbour for a 10am start they need their sleep.
tide went from the harbour fairly rapid so i went and anchored outside and got them ferried out to me when they arrived, while waiting i had a few fish to keep me busy.
when they came aboard we went looking for macks after a while i managed 4 on a string so off we went anchored up for a few animals dogs showed up pretty much straight away then a change of baits seen the first few hounds arrive when kyle had a very nice 6lb fish he couldnt stop smiling for the next hour.things started to get rough out here so we opted for comfort and safety pollack and wrasse were the order of the day and not long before leonie had the first of 3x 43cm wrasse today in very quick sucession we also got into some great pollack fishing id say close on at least 40 fish some crackers at that i had the best of them with two of them going to 6lb each all in all a very enjoyable day with some fine fish caught by all sure what more could we want.

brilliant John and gang - you surely are on fire at the moment. Have you had any luck with mackies? This side is either totally deserted or you catch a few large ones full with roe. Never seen this before.

Where do you launch from? Bray? Bulloch? I used to live right on the shore at the bottom of Corbawn Lane, and reading your reports I'm beginning to wish I'd never left! We dont get out half as much over here.

Re: Dublin Boat Marks (IMELDA) 30/6/13
Thanks for the replys lads.
6 rods is enough to bring
i had one on a 6lb uglystick with braid and a small millionaire, the second one was on a rod i won couple years back its a robinson sea wolf
with my other penn the 4500ss fixedspool with braid great crack out of the two of them from about 60ft of water

thanks martyn, macks very patchy i see odd ones here and there heard of 150 caught during the week none in numbers since. The Austrian wrote:brilliant John and gang - you surely are on fire at the moment.
