east coast tope

Tide:flood

Weather:
Calm
Bait:crab mac

Rigs:3/0 10/0 pulleys

Results:tope and hounds




Report:was on holidays for a wk with family in wexford was out fishing with my son we got a few hounds he loved it was his first time fishing. Gave joe white a call to do some late night fishing and what a night we had!!!! After a long wait joe.s rachet was screaming he let it run until it slowed down then he struck into it and what a fight he had. After a few more runs we finally got the tope to shore. I always said if we got a tope i would jump in after it and i did. Grabbed it by tail and landed it. After a quick photo it swam off strong. Congrats to joe for his very first tope well done :)

Very very nice, Tope is close 2 50lb I'd say, nice fish and well done!!!

super fish aido... nice one it looks alot bigger than 30 lbs.... there is some fight from them...love fishing them.......
