Hi all,

I'm heading to Hook Head for 2 weeks in August and fancy bringing the young lads out for a days fishing. Does anyone have any info about a boats etc?

Thanks in advance

Hi Jim,

Kilmore Quay is probably your best bet for a charter in the area.

The Hayes brothers are excellent skippers.

If you google the above you should get all the info you need.

Hook head is generally rough with big waves so I don't know whether it would ideal for the kids first boat trip, I would recommend Kilmore quay with eamonn Hayes , good luck and don't forget your tablets for the stomach especially for kids

Walter Foley has two boats running out of Duncannon , I'm sure if you google 'Wild Swan' you will get more info.
