first bass of 2013 finally!

People:me,damien,paul

Duration:4hours

Tide:2hours before low 2hours after low

Weather:SW wind sunny with a few clouds

Bait:crab

Rigs:lures and pulleys

Results:3bass and one lost

after hours upon hours of fishing before the ban i got nothing then as soon as the ban was over i went out to a local mark blanked a week later three of us took a trip down to wexford\waterford for the weekend we fished an estuary mark the first day with one landed bass and one big one lost by paul i landed the only fish the first day on a black minnow then paul lost a big one on a bass bullet that was all for the day, next day we fished a beach mark with bait and two bass were caught both around 3lb both on crab that was all for the rest of the weekend all fish were released

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.

The water and the waves in pic one just screams bass. I'd of wet myself just walking on to it. What time did you fish it..? Did you catch it at first light..?

Think it was around 10:30 till 2:30 so nope not first light:-)
