I would suggest that you wind your neck in, if indeed you would like to do something constructive, about the lack of fish, then write to the Icelanders and the Faroese and tell them to stop wiping out our mackerel, that would be something we could all agree with you about. As for telling other anglers that they should not be eating their catch, well you should keep your thoughts to yourself, then you might not embarrass yourself with your bad grammar, the correct grammar is "No wonder there are no fish about", lesson ends here.

@ edinburgheire
I find it quite interesting to watch how a full moon always seems to bring out the trolls and the begrudgers from their caves.
I was brought up with the treasured advice from my parents: if you haven't to say anything nice then just keep your gob shut!
Therefore it is beyond my understanding why on earth did you bother to come on here on a sea angling forum and slag a young angler in his report? He has done nothing illegal and it's up to him to decide what to keep. Have you ever bothered to read the rules of this forum? I honestly doubt it.
The only one behaving disgracefully here is you for your intolerance and obvious inability to share the feelings of success with a young sea angler.

Well done PJKaiser, do net let you being dragged down by one bad apple. Most of the lads here are good guys and I look forward to reading many more reports from you.

Mod Comment:
Enough!

Bottom line:
Nothing illegal here.
If you think the catch was small then that is an opinion (you are entitled to that).
If you get in a hole - Stop digging.
