New PB Bass
Location : Yeah right
Time : 8.30pm to 1.00am
Tide : high at 12.30
Bait : rag and lug
Results : 1xbass 3 flounder
Only decided on this session as I got a lift home from a wedding today.
Went and bought some rag. Decided to go dig a few lug as well.
Arrived at the mark and set up two rods. One with a 2 hook 3/0 flapper rig for the bass and a 3 hook 1/0 flapper to try for flats.
About an hour into the session the flounder rod doubled over. Picked it up and the mother of all fights. After about 5 mins got him landed.
My new PB Bass weighed in at 10.5lbs.
A few pics and back he went.
Took a little while for me to come back down from cloud 9.

Re: New PB Bass
well done, shes massive!
2011: Aims:
1. To discover as many marks as I can.
2. To catch a bass over 5lb on a lure.
3. To stick to, and learn about lure fishing so I can shake off the beginner tag!
