Bilge Pump keeps blowing fuses

My Bilge Pump keeps blowing fuses!!! any ideas :?:

might be clogged with dirt take it out clean and try again :wink:

Yes clogged is the usual suspect. Check out the wiring if not ...wire direct to eliminate the current wiring...

look for fishing line wrapped around the pump impellor. That's my bilge pump fuse went !

Yep.. bit of fishing line and plastic from a pack of feathers... It could do with some sort of "Gauze" filter to stop rubbish getting caught in it!!! :P

They have a removable cover for good reason :wink:
