People:myself,jimmy k, and david

Duration:9.30 pm - 4.30 am

Tide:rise & fall

Weather:dry and very windy

Bait: fresh peeled and softies

Rigs:pullys

Results:14 hounds & 1 silver fella (put back stright away)




Report:
got a call from the brother james to say he was off tuesday and did i fancy a session down poolbeg on monday night with the tides being late and fairly high so i went out early monday morning at 5 am to collect some crab with 18 prime peeler and 8 softies we were set to go that evening just as we were leaving the other brother ask if he could tag along as he had a break from the leaving cert on the tuesday arrived down the wall to a gale so we decided to fish down the half moon for a bit of shelter from the gales from the first cast to the last the fish were hitting the baits hard with many miss bites and a few droped fish but we did land a few as well with david geting his first ever hound james had the biggest hound of the session at 5.9 lb the fish ranged from pups of about a pound to james biggest i also had a silver fella in between of about 3lb all in all it was a good nights fishing with the brothers in the end the scores were me with 7 & bass james has 4 and david had 3

Great session there, tight lines all round! Worth getting up at 5 a.m. (not sure what that is....) to collect peelers.

you have to be willing to go hardcore if you want to get the best out of your fishing :lol: either that or figure out how to contol the moon :wink: who needs sleep anyway :twisted:
