#1 Post by the weasel »

People - Myself and 7 year old lad for the first time and father in law

Duration - 1830-2100

Tide - High water 1922

Weather - Windy and dry

Bait - Mack,sandeel,razor,squid

Rigs - pulleys

Results - One 3.5 lb pollack using a cocktail of mack and razor tipped of with squid.

Report:Was of work yesterday and the young fella was at me to go fishing so i was decided that we would go and see how we would get on with it,had planned on fishing the pier but there was 2 other lads on if so went down to the beach, which was prob a safer idea having the young fella with me,after baiting up the rods we were only waiting 30 mins when i spotted a faint bite and left it for a few mins more than it gave a good pull and it was there when i brought him to the shore and my young fella got real excited when he seen a fish being caught, after rebaiting i discovered that i had forgotten the new bait elastic and it was down hill after that.Anyway it was a nice evening and good to get out
