They go for stupid money on fleabay, the reels where ok 15 years ago, more a collectors item now: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_kw=daiw ... millionmax
However, I rather spend that kind money on new reels...

Thats about as much I can find out myself.A mate of mine picked one up for nothing and were trying to figure out why a reel that came out 15 years ago is still selling so high.I cant find a single review or reason why the reel is still selling.

as I've mentioned already, this reel has become a sought after collectors item by now and if you ever tried to buy a Henry Toulouse Lautrec sketch on a piece of Moulin Roughe tissue or a Beethoven hand-script note on mouldy wallpaper in an auction it doesn't really matter how imperfect or riddled with flaws it might be The hype dictates the price in this perverted world we live in.
