Results slaughterhill 150g day may 19

#1 Post by scannerman »

1 Andrew Gormley 240.00 m

2 John Henry 226.93 m

3 Paddy Cunningham 224.61 m

4 Lee Gallagher 197.20 m

5 Brendan Cleary 187.20 m

Fantastic day on the hill, stunning weather for a bbq and sun tan but tough for casting. Andrew still managed a massive 240 with a breeze blowing across the court and the lads mid twenties were certainly worked for! A funny wind day, sometimes there was no breeze, other moments the wind was blowing in two different directions-in your face at the ockey and across the court at the flag! and then for a brief moment if you were lucky enough, it would go directly down the center....

Conditions..cloudy start gave way to clear skies and sunshine, variable Easterly breeze 3-7km, no rain

Bit of side wind for alot of the day and the line hung in the air for ages, so if we were not on the ball and tightened up sharpish you were in the tree's..
