just to let anyone who fishes cahore that redmonds in ballygarret will not be selling petrol for the foreseeable future so dont get caught out

Tom Redmond sadly passed away late last year. When I was a kid every decent fish I caught was brought to Redmond's to be weighed on his scales. He was a gentleman, and was always happy to talk fishing, and pass on any local fishing gossip and news. As I understand it their fuel hardware is broken and the cost of repair is just not worth the return on their fuel sales. However, the shop is still very much open for business. There's petrol stations in Courtown, Ballyedmond & Ballycanew so try not to get caught out.
