Heading to tenerife next week , thinking of doing a few days on charter boat, havent been before any advice welcomed...........................

Get an English skipper...the locals are just out to make money and won't prioritise gettin you on to the fish...make sure they're insured etc..
sure, its not raining between the showers!

A mate of mine was there last week, he went out on The Happy Hooker charter 2 days running. All they got was a couple of small Ray. The skipper took him out the 3rd day for free to try and get him a nice fish (fair play), but fishing was slow that day as well. But at 60 euro for a half days fishing plus the whales and dolphins you see I suppose it's not bad value for money, I think spectators are half price.
