get in touch with Art (cortaz here on the forum, send him a PM) he will look after you, knows the area like his trouser pockets :)

Haven't fished from the boat down there in a long time. There is a great slipway in Helvic.
You have many many options. Dungarvan bay is good for bass as is the gold coast. There are loads of flattie options etc. but I think you need somebody more qualified than me. Maybe contact John O'Brien in the Waterford angling & outdoor shop and maybe try a pm to Cortaz here on SAI hes knows the area well though may not be a GPS numbers kinda guy!

Defo more accurate than gps numbers  great story of the legend doing the rounds at the minute, brings a visitor to a mark, whilst visitor is still setting up the rod , arthur casts his bait and shouts count to 60 and watch, on 12 the rod completly buckles over 8) , same goes for boat fishing in the bay
Species....good film.....I'll get my coat

Certainly I launched from Helvic a few years back without any bother or charge. The slip was great (RNLI) and there was good parking.
There is a slip in Ardmore. I wonder does it get blocked by commercials abandoning boats and trailers?

Theres another slip near the golf course in Dungarvan, looks like a low degree slope too for easy launch and retreive. Take a look on google maps.

Ballinacourty, in front of the Gold Coast Hotel, no problem there.
