Bulloch Harbour

Does anyone know when the boat rentals start for the season? As far as I remember it was May first but the boats are still on dry land.
List 2010. fish

List 2011: less fish

2012: less fish again,

2013: even less fish.

They are not in a major hurry with the way the winds and weather have been, still antifouling boats yesterday id say sometime in the next week or so. Give Chris in the shed a ring if your planning on renting a boat. 01 2800915

waste of money out in them if you ask me last year was terrible for mackeral only a few comin in here and there best off try get a few of your mates to get out on a charter

There is more to catch other than mackeral in the boats from bulloch, if you know what your at :idea:

Myself and a mate were out yest 4/5/13, launched from old coal harbour, fished Dalkey island and surrounding area, had a good few pollack not big mind, loadsa pin whiting and a dab. All in all was a enjoyable few hrs. Bait was rag and lug.

I'd have to agree with John, that area can be exceptional if you put the time in 8)
