huss on the move

#1 Post by Paul Harris »

People:me

Duration:5 -9pm

Tide:flood

Weather:mild

Bait:sandeel

Rigs:pulley

Results:
This result went astray somehow so i will repost.
Just a quick session off an easy mark which often throws up some good huss. Total for the session was half a dozen dogs and huss of 4-2, 6-11 and right at the death one of 7-14. Would have fished on but a dodgy headlamp left me in the dark.
Since then one of my guests has had a 15-11 huss and lost a bigger one at a new mark we were looking at. Good start to the holiday as it was their first day and they had a few conger as well.

No ray showing as yet and even the boat anglers are saying that they have not moved in properly and must still be out in deeper water. Bound to be a few about somewhere and we might find them as the week goes on but could really do with the water warming up a bit more.
