I cannot fault the service from http://www.darrenskayaks.com/
Gent to deal with, sorts you out. I got a tarpon 100 off him,but he does all sorts of size and shapes. ALot of folks use the 120or140, but I'm very happy with the tarpon100

Can't really fault it, but you can feel the difference between that and the tarpon. You get what you pay for I suppose

For me it should be a 12 ft kayak for the seas. Ocean kayaks, wilderness kayak and and hobie kayaks are all top notch. Check out irishkayakangling.com

Ya, Darren's a sound fella, he'll take you out on the water and will give the necessary safety lessons. I had a manta ray but now paddle about in a prowler. As Anthony says check out IKA. You'll find out whatever you need to know.

I got an islander( sit on top ), I knew nothing about kayaks, but this was recommended to me , i fitted a rod holder myself, was not as easy as some make out ,but I am not to handy with tools, decent storage and tie down on the back, very stable ,even in choppy seas , (sit on kayaks ) feel strange at first, sitting above the water takes a while to get used to,
