Rod tip ring

Hi all
I have the sonick sk 4 and would like to change the tip ring guide, as its a wee bit soft and the briad cutt'n in(crap tip :? ).....any recommendations?

Heat it with a lighter and it SHOULD just pull off with a pliers bring the guide to your local tackle shop to match up the size, give the rod tip a LIGHT scuff with Emory paper , melt a small bit of hot glue into the hole of the new guide and just push onto the rod.
