Cheap Lip Grip!

#1 Post by timod »

If anyone is looking to buy a lip grip that won't break the bank I would recommend this. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/271096064160?ssP ... 1439.l2649 I just received my one in the post (2 weeks delivery) from China and I have to say for the money its not a bad bit of kit. The price has gone up since I ordered mine for €13.50 but its still reasonable enough. I know any imitation Boga-Grips are prone to rusting and falling apart but if it lasts a season or two I'd be happy enough. Only observation I would make is the dial on the top of the handle for setting the accuracy of the scales is a bit flimsy so I wouldn't put full faith in readings unless I had just set the accuracy.

Its madness how they can sell something like this for €8 and still make a profit  Hows it holding up after the year?

Perhaps mods could create a "Bargin Alerts" thread in the buy and sell?
