Ennereilly and Arklow

#1 Post by Pat Spillane »

People:Me

Duration:1900-2245

Tide:Dropping

Weather:Good to start but the wind increased S-SE making things difficult, had to turn the mag down slightly

Bait:A bit of everything except crab

Rigs:1, 2and 3 hook Clipped down rigs

Results: Just 2 dogs at Ennereilly 6 dogs and small whiting at Arklow

Report:
Got to Ennereilly at 1900 and things looked great, there were two other guys fishing and they had 1 dog a small bass (half pound) and a couple of small flats and whiting. The sea was calm and winds were light. By 2030 the wind had got up and the sea started to get a bit rough. I had two fish before dark but it all went quiet. I decided to move to Arklow for an hour and it was worth the trip as I had non stop action with a few fish missed and dropped.
