#1 Post by stevecrow74 »

my partner has great timing to decide to head down that end of the country, BASS SEASON IS CLOSED, GOD DAMN IT. :? :?

so my question to you now is: what else can i target when i'm down there???
and second question, where can i get bait without heading into waterford???

I just dont know what i'll do with her anymore.. :? :? :? :?

Tramore

Hi Steve

You can dig as much bait as you want from the corner of the back strand in tramore next to the municipal dump... eh sorry land fill! Lugworm, ragworms, clams, the occassional shrimps in the small pools etc. All good.
Access is from the informal car park near the amusement arcade area.

John O'Brien's angling centre in on the Tramore road on the outskirts of Waterford City, near the shopping centre (opposite the old Ivory Hotel).
Kieran Hanrahan

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...

2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks
