Re: Lure Fishing Guide
Thanks Lugworm/Danny I appreciate the kind words and link , I just want to add that my blog has been a bit quiet lately due to my recovery from a recent knee operation. This has taken me away from the rocky shorelines I love to lure-fish until I've fully recovered.Thankfully I've been keeping busy with the match fishing.
Although it's not specific to Ireland I think it is definitely relevant and is a blog I would recommend to anyone interested in lure fishing http://www.mikeladle.com/archive/index.html . There is a lot of great information in Mike's work and his style of writing is easy to read and understand. I believe it provides a good grounding for anyone new or improving and also offers plenty for experienced anglers aswell . His books are also some of the best available, decades after publication. Enjoy your journey.

Re: Lure Fishing Guide
I'v found a lot of information, and reassurance here. Catching is more about timing and location than anything else.

Re: Lure Fishing Guide
Bassy Tom - I run a free bass fishing Intro workshop during Fisheries Awareness Week (April normally) here in Wexford, roughly its about 10:00 to 16:00 across many aspects of bass fishing both on fly and lure and its normally on a Saturday - it might be helpful to you in some way. It filled up pretty quickly last few years so if you would like to attend just drop me a PM no probs
Crev and Ror thanks for ref - always very helpful!

Re: Lure Fishing Guide
Tom got your pm and stack of others too! I will ensure that all of you are included in the workshop and Bob I will hold it after you return to Ireland. Keep an eye on here or on Probassfisher for the exact details - I may consider a weekend with lure on Saturday and fly on Sunday at a time better suited to bass fishing for all of us
