Dublin Angling Show

#1 Post by Paul Harris »

Had a stand at the Dublin Angling Show at the weekend met up with a few faces I had not seen for 20 years (or more), had a great gossip about the 'oul times' and planned future meetings.
The stand was good and busy throughout and it was good to know that that the Beara is starting to be noticed now with quite a few planning on visits this year.
The various talks were brilliant especially Jim Clohessy and Henry Gilbey, two super enthusiastic anglers happy to share their knowledge with us lesser mortals.
The winner of the draw for free weekend for two was John Doyle from Roscommon who admits to being a beginner at sea angling so we look forward to welcoming him to Dromagowlane House and making a convert to sea fishing.
Live out on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. Always willing to assist visiting anglers.
