Duration: 9.30am to 1pm

Tide: HW 11.30

Weather: constant rain

Bait: mackeral, lug, crab

Rigs: pully, 2 & 3 hook flappers

Results: flounders (largest 33cm)

Fair play John that will keep the fishing bug going for you. Glad you got out and caught something.
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...

well done thats a nice flounder! did you by any chance get it on crab on the pully?

thanks lads,

keeps the morale up alright.

caught on 2 hook flapper 4/0 hooks loaded with peeler.

had second rod out on a pulley loaded with lug hoping for some codling.

was fishing up close to the rocks (mainly for shelter from rain)

is there better spots down the beach for other species?
