Greystones south beach

People:Andy_k, myself

Duration:3pm-10pm

Tide:drop n rise

Weather:cool but calm

Bait:lug,fresh peeler,razor,squid

Rigs:flappers and pulleys

Results:whitening,flounders,dabs,5b rockling




Report:after suffering the fishing dt"s during xmas,i finally secured day realease frm the kids and missus.
bait collected frm Tilly n greystones was an old stomping ground so i had to give it a bash. first cast was a respectable flounder of 31. blank saved.. afew more casts resulted in some whitening..Andy followed down after his beloved ManU match, with a belated xmas present of a Ron Thom igloo 4 me,happy out was not the word.... we fished on to catch afew dabs n whitening with loads of 5b rockling showing n afew 3b rockling in the mix..i fished till 10 as id to get a train back to baldolye..andy fished on catching whitening n slugs..
it was nice to get out n catch up with the little bro n NO KIDS haha

It was a nice evening to be out fishing wasn't as cold as i thought it was going to be with plenty of fish keeping us busy. Nice to catch up with the bro and have a nice evening fishing

Nice one lad I should have done the same and headed local, instead I fished south Wexford and only had one coalie to show for it :(

sounds like a busy session what part of the beach did yas fish i havent fished greystones beaches in a good while but last time both proved pretty snaggy

we were fishing just left of were the old sewer pipe was, near the first arch.. i remember fishing off the pipe when it was still flowing, always got coalies n flats there

Oh the memories, back in the day when you didn't no what that thing between your legs was for and you didn't know what budweiser was all about ha ha :lol: :lol: .
