#1 Post by thelegend »

People:ken, bernard and me

Duration:12pm-8pm

Tide:high water at 6.30

Weather:windy at first, then lovely

Bait:lug, wraps,crab,razor,mack,squid

Rigs:pulleys, 2 hook clipped and 2 up 1 down flappers

Results:codling,dabs,rockling ,whiting and pouting

Report:ariived at 11.45 after a long drive, got set up quickly and were soon into some nice whiting a lot over the 30 cm, was like this for a few hours with the odd pouting and codling thrown in too, as soon as the sun set it was like someone threw a switch with some very fine dabs and codling coming on the feed, was hell of a busy last few hours with great fishing and good banter too, excellent days fishing, most enjoyable, we didnt want to leave but ran out of bait, longest and most pleasurable session ive had in years and glad for the 2 lads with me as they dont fish much and will remember this session for a long time, with talk of them buying this rod, and that reel and that headlight on the drive back home,i was grinning from ear to ear , think ive 2 new fishing buddies
