People:mark and me .

Duration:18:30 23:00

Tide:not sure

Weather:mild and wet

Bait:lug squid muscle mac sand eel

Rigs:2 hook flapperd

Results:whiting flounder bass rockling .

Set up anf started fishing .looked as if the tide was going out .two hours later coming back in.so not sure what way the tide was. Fitst cast whiting for both of us and thats how it went for the rest of the night. About 30 whiting biggest 28 cm 2 flounder to 30cm 1 small bass and a rockling. Not to bad for first session of the year.

a Bass is a nice way to start the year, well done !
2011 : pollack
2012 : whiting, dogfish, gurnard, flounder, smooth hound, poor cod, pollack, ballan wrasse, corkwing wrasse, goldshinny wrasse, blenny, bass, codling, rockling, dab, pouting, pollack, sea scorpion
2013 : codling(ie), rockling(ie), wrasse(fr), whiting(fr)

Early Bass that could be good news wonder did they ever move off with the water being so warm late last year
Species 2012: Flounder, Whiting, Dublin Bay Codling, Coalie, 3 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Bass, Dogfish, 5.2lb Starry Smoothhound (PB), Twaite Shad, Thornback Ray 5.8lbs (PB), LSD, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Cork Wing Wrasse, 43cm Flounder (PB)

Species 2013: Coalie, East Coast Codling, Smoothounds, And hopefully a back opp to get back fishing soon...
