Duration:23.30 till 2.30

Tide:filling

Weather:light sw wind showers

Bait:crab

Rigs:pulleys

Results:1 pouting 1 cod




Report:
havent been doing much fishing lately with the poor reports its been hard to get motivated. i was fishing about an hour before i saw any sign of life got a few small bites so out of boredom i brought it in thinking i had a small codling it turned out to be a pouting of about 17cm greedy little pig managed to half swallow a big crab bait on a 5/0 hook. it was about another hour before i got another bite this time it was a decent bite no doubting it was a nice fish with the fight it put up landed a nice 62 cm cod. fished on for another hour or so without even a bite so packed up and headed home to prep my cod for the pan
