Codling On Soft Plastics

#1 Post by razor2 »

Haven't put a catch report up in a very long time but here its goes to be honest i don't think its even in the right place its not the same format as before.Headed out this evening for an hour or so great fishing i have to say no monsters but fish at least from the off the codling nailed everything that we put at them about five or six in all and lost as many.Pollock coalies to follow in good numbers all small again.Even while fishing the fisheries lads came along a first for me just checking to see if i was up to anything a quick chat and off he went.

Not a major fan of standing in one spot and lashing out grippers etc....but this is a belter of an idea for the winter..! Nice work.

Well done Ray - great to try someting different and get a result!
Not surprised that they went for SPs as I caught a few cod on bait last weekend which were stuffed with sandeels and a few rocklings. One greedy pig had three rockings as well as a bunch of sandeel in its stomach.
