West Waterford, the bassfishing capitolof the world.

#1 Post by cortaz »

People:1 or 2 at times

Duration:6 afternoon sessions

Tide:the 3 hours up to high water

Weather:concentrated on the days wen the wind/swell was from the south

Bait:lugs,lures n peelers

Rigs:own brand

Results:18 bass to 8/9lb lots of fine flounder to well over 2lb..
Bait fished a session with Stan and his grankids, had gr8 craic fishing was bit mental fr over an hour the peeler baits wer getting hammered by fine bass up to bout 8lb, also had 5/6lber on a white feedshallow,
Fished the surf with lug for the last 4 days plenty of schoolies and flounder, had several dubble shots, the rods wer hopping each day for the dusk, a lady friend joined me yesterday, she had 3 bass,1 doggie,3 coalies and 2x2 dubble shots of 2lb+ flounder,
got lots of nice pics that il post wen i gt my comp fixed.

A note[ lot of talk of ppl having a poor season, and a lack of fish.........not around here, wen conditions have been half right the fishing has been most excellant :P , on lures n bait if anything the fish are noticable bigger with an avg. of 6lb, not inc schoolies.
