ECRSAC Final MA Competition 2012 - Sat 17th Nov

Lads,

Last leg of the MA takes place this Saturday in Louth.

We’re meeting in Clogherhead Village @ 7:30 - 8am (Fishing 10am - 3pm),

The venue will either be Termonfeckin or Port Beach, again both close to Clogherhead. It will be mainly fishing for flats due to the lack of darkness.


This should be a terrific comp and any 2 from the top 6 can secure the 2013 Master Angler Spots and depending on how the cards fall, any one from Clive, Alby, Gordy, SOD, Funtan or John could be crowned 2012 ECR Master Angler.

why did you pick 10 till 3pm in the first place, if 3 to 8 is the optimum time.This change of times should have been called a long time ago alby, not 5 days away.

It seems the change of time has effected a few of the other lads also so we have amended as per below :

We will change meeting time to 7:30 - 8am in Clogherhead.

slowly clive ivory won gordy second and myself third ,sunny cloudless conditions and a flat calm sea didnt help
longest flat i think was 26 cm to john hughes

Well done on the win Clive! Was sick I couldnt fish this myself.Work is getting in the way of my fishing a bit too much these days Not gonna hold my breath when I ask for a day off for the Christmas comp..

AGM will be day of the Christmas Turkey Shoot - Saturday December 8th in Byrnes Pub Shankill @ 1pm as usual.

Fishing will be on Killiney Beach afterwards. Open to new members as well as existing!
