Waterford cod! My first of the season!!!!
People: Me and 3
Duration: Felt like forever
Tide: In and out
Weather: Nice
Bait:Crab, Razor, Rag, Sandeel and mac
Rigs:Pullys
Results: 1 Cod
The whole day starterd off quiet sh!t to be honest. I was ment to be up for 6 am to go dig some lug and then pick up the crab from tilly on the way home. But I slept in and woke late...... Rang tilly and arranged a different collection time...
Got to tilly and ended up buying loads to make up for the lack of lug, which we felt was a must have but it seems to be as hard as gold dust to buy live....
Anyway got to waterford LATE, tide was nearly in but we got there and needed to fish...
Stuck on the BBQ nad waited, was there about 2 hours with not a touch when my rod bounced around the rest and I landed a fat jucie cod of close to 3lbs...
The rest of the night was quiet with small nibbles here and there... Only fish landed all night for about 6 hours fishing....
One of the lads lost a fish that put up a hell of a scrap. Dont know what it was....

P.S..... Why is it so hard to upload a photo so this site, I am a graphic designer and I struggle to get them working.
