Bait[SP's, limpet and lures]:

Rigs[weedless]:

Results[lots of pollock and wrasse]:




Report[All I can say really is probably the best days fishing i have ever had. We all caught beautiful fish. Wrasse up to 3.5lbs and Pollock to 4lbs. awesome!!!!!]:

2012 species: Pollock, Mack, Coalfish, Gurnard, Bullhuss, Dogfish and Wrasse.
Would do anything for a bass!

north clare is producing some great fish at the moment, and aer lingus has stopped flying bristol to shannon until next may. well done, some lovely wrasse from my local marks

Species list 2013.Conger, Launce, Pollock, Ballan Wrasse, Dogfish, 3b rockling, Bull Huss, Mackeral, Tub Gurnard.

Species list 2012. Mackeral, Pollock, Coalie, Bass, Dab, Weeverfish, Bull Huss, Poor Cod, Grey Gurnard, Ballan wrasse, Long spined sea scorpion, Conger, Pouting.

Great session! I was down at Blackhead on the same day and managed a few fish but none near the size you caught.. As a matter of interest how did the soft plastics compare to the limpets? Did you see that the wrasse had a preference for one over the other? Cheers

I was fishing with the lads for a while the other day and the lure fishing for them was difficult, they had no interest in them but at the same mark on other days I have been getting hit most casts by them so don't let that put you off. The numbers of them seem to be slackening off a bit too over the last few weeks.

I will don't worry :) had a few nice ones today checking out new marks with pete!!

I definately wont lead him astray, I love fishing with SP's myself. Got some lovely wrasse on SP's today. Love wrasse fishing, simply love it.
