Headed out to dig a few lug in inveran but they still hadnt recovered after redtide only some very small ones about an inch long any way to the fishing on the way home stopped and decided to fish spiddal beach there was a lovely surf perfect for flats cast out first rod with 2 mack strip and 1 with blackwraps and mack strip first cast produced small flounder around 23cm and one for dad around 20cm had a lively bite witch produced a fat 37cm flounder not a bad fish fished away for another while with a few flounder .... There is alot of small coalies and whiting after dark well worth a try and always seems to produce .. There is also a few big flounder up to 40cm there always seem to get a few good ones there

Well done nice fishing a 37cm flounder is a fine fish, , is that the beach beside the pier or just as you come into spiddal?

ha dan i would say it is the one as you come in to spiddal..... i have never fished it ,,but might now....
