there are lots of young anglers just because they are not on the form dosnt mean they are not out there

fair play lads but for some reason in donegal there not welcome cause they might take some big mans fish but as ;long as my hole points downwards my nephews an daughter any cub who has any interest will always be welcome!

No harm to you sir but I think that's an awful comment, I'm from Donegal and I've always been made feel most welcome on the sea angling scene, boat and shore, competitive and pleasure fishing, I've learnt an awful lot from those older and wiser than myself and I would be only too happy to pass on the wealth of information I've gained to younger anglers but I really just don't think the interest is there, playstations and xboxes and the likes seem to rule now, patience is a virtue with regards to sea fishing, especially round these parts and I personally feel the younger generation just don't seem to understand the meaning of the word.

A few pictures of some young anglers in Co Kerry.
Great to see kids getting involved in the sport. We hope to get some courses set up for next year down here to help kids get more involved in the fun that angling can be.
