Fished balackhead on sat we fished around peg 13-21 first of all tried float fishing but only managed a few pollack (small) and a lot of small coalies and whiting had a bit of frozen with me so tried them on 2 of the small size 12 sabiki feathers wasnt expecting much but i was pleasently suprised .......... Tried jigging them just beside the rocks was getting alot of small stuff kept fishing with a fish a cast then got a fish of about 2lbs and a pollack of 4-5lbs all on feathers with mackerel . Meanwhile had a distance rod out baited with 2 hook flapper with mack not a bite not even crabs ...
Moved on to fanore around 2pm and noticed a beautiful wave loads of surfers but any way cast out first cast dad a small turbot me a 32cm flounder only had an hour there but still managed 1 weever , 2 flounder and 2 turbot all in all a good days fishing
