i have to agree cooke, fair play to all the youth and developement guys involved, and to the organisers, i know that a lot of work and effort was put into fundraising here for the ulster team to make team memer expenses minimal for the trip. the only problem with the whole thing is that it doesnt give the team members who qualified much time to get prepared and stuff for the home international at the end of june...??
just that for some of the juniors etc, they will not have long to gather up the money for the trip, once you take in buying the uniform, proabably tracksuit or similar, spending money, any extra money for extra 2 nights b+b, bait etc for practise days etc ....
lets just hope that anglers in each province from which the guys made the teams can pull something together asap, perhaps a fundraising open or something to help the young guys (under 16's) out?? most of the 17-21 year olds should probably be self sufficient, left school etc by now anyhow.
just an idea though..........
