Kinsale 11/10/2012

#1 Post by Ric0shay »

People:Kev and myself

Duration:2hrs

Tide:low

Weather:perfect

Bait:Home made lure

Rigs:

Results:3 bass

Report:
Im putting this one up on behalf of a mate.We hit the beach this evening with intent to bring the dogs for a walk.We arrived and the waters looked perfect.I had nothing with me but Kev had some gear and his home made lure.He had been trying these since last year, mostly for pike but had refined the size lately for the bass.Within 10 minutes he was in to his first fish.I nice plump fish of 3lbs followed by 2 smaller fish in quick secession.
All in all a great surprise of a night and even better to see all his effort at the lures paying off.

Another goal ticked off the list for this year, well for kev anyway. Its been a great season all in all. With the majority of what we were looking to do ticked off the list. The last big hurdle is a bass on a DIY fly and there isn't much time left but you never know.
