Lovely fish mate. great size to get as your first too. haven't got a bass in Dublin in years. very jealous

nice one! the best way to handle bass is to stick your thumb in its mouth and grab it by the bottom lip lift it up and support it under the belly with a flat hand ,the bigger ones will roughen up your thumb a bit
