Dublin, 15 Sept 2012
People: Me
Duration: 19 h 00 - 20 h 00
Tide: low at 17 h 00
Weather: nice, but cloudy
Bait: ragworms
Rigs: 2 hook flapper (size 2)
Results: my first bass ever !!!
Report: Wasn't sure if I should report that one, since everybody seems very caution with bass reports, especially around Dublin... but I couldn't resist reporting my first bass ever. So there it is. Sorry for the poor quality picture : wasn't sure how to handle the fish and wanted to put it back to the water as soon as possible.

Re: Dublin, 15 Sept 2012
Thanks everybody for the kind comments !
It wasn't a big one : about 35 cm long.
I wasn't really fishing for Bass. Well, I always have secret hopes of great catches, like all of us... Only 5 minutes after my first cast, something really powerfull was knocking at the other end of my line. I couldn't belive what was happening until I saw that plump silver fish landed at my feet.
I guess it was the luck of a beginner, but now I've got a problem : I want more Bass !!!
