Again mate, Great result and a surprising spot there in front of the tea rooms from time to time.

Where you casting into the clean sand closer in or the rock/kelp bed out a bit further?

BTW - Watch your car down there. I walk my dog most nights on different beaches around dublin and i've seen a lot of angry swimmers and walkers down there who have had windows smashed in and everything robbed during daylight. I used to think Poolbeg was the worst for that, but Killiney is terrible lately

I hear Shankhill is the same although never fished or parked there

Thanks Austrian, have had no faith in the black wraps up until recentley. When using the usual rag tipped with mack Ive started tipping the rag with a small section of wrap then a thumbnail of mack and seems to be working a treat, have had plaice, flounder and all those wrasse on Killiney on that combo.Might be just the rag and mack doing the job but I have a bit more faith with that bit of black wrap now

The spot I was in wouldnt of been as far up the beach as the tea rooms and is mainly clean ground although seems to have a few snags out at distance alright(Got the huss at distance).
Nice1 for the heads up on the car, always thought the car to be safe enough round there but I always throw the beam of the headlamp at the car every so often if I can.
