Report:after travelling the south east with little reward we decided to try a local mark that had been kind to us last year.
arrived with about 2 hours to go before full tide,not a sinner about and looked like no fish about either with baits coming back untouched,then half an hour before full tide i decided to lie down and said fishies im goin to sleep
the minute i said the word sleep my rod buckled over and nearly came out of the tripod,jumped up grab it no need to strike this fish was hooked,good scrap off him made me think he was a lot bigger but still happy enough with a nice fat bass about 4lb,that was it not another bite.....we went back couple of days later roughly same time before high water with an extra body (ray had heard about our previous fish ) it was the same story nothing happening for about an hour with baits coming back untouched then ray had a little tap so he struck and got into a decent fight,few mins later another nice fat bass was on the beach this time weighing 6lb 2 and like the previous time that was it for the session ..both fish took the rag with the razor and crab being ignored last year it was the other way round with everything but razor being ignored
