Poolbeg Wall

#1 Post by robbiemag »

People:Myself and Paul

Duration:5 Hours

Tide:Rise

Weather:Strong southerly

Bait:Lug, crab, razor

Rigs:Pulley and 2 hook flapper

Results:1 flounder, 5 and half pound bass

Report:
Tried a local mark as there was a nice surf rollin in and the start of the 4 metre tides. High water was at 12.30 and was set up for 9.30. Tried different baits at different distances. It was very quiet. Baits were coming in untouched. Around high water a flounder was got and soon after a bass :D . No more bites for the rest of the night. The waves were comin up over the wall at high tide. It looked ideal for bass but no more showed. Headed home at 2.30.
