People: me, Bradan, Pete

Duration: all day

Tide: low tide to high tide

Weather: wet... breeze... but cleared up a bit towards the end

Bait: more of that beautiful lug worm

Rigs:all kinds

Results:2 flatties and a five bearded rockling

Report:started off by diggin lug... the easy bit, for me anyway, but towards the end of the digging the other 2 were pulling lug out (mostely fron under my fork, he he he). started spinning and fly fishing in the channel at low tide to see if we could catch anything but no joy there, and as the tide progressed we set up the beachcasters and lobbed them out, pete was the first to catch a flattie (bit on the small side mind you). And that was that for the back beach, moved to the main beach just before it started to get dark (nothing like walking along a dangerous cliff when you cant see),
set up by the carpark and cast in about 20-40 yrds and Pete yet again catches yet another fish, a five bearded rockling this time, and not long after Bradan catches a fine little flounder, by this time i was questioning my technique, but to all avail i blanked.... me..... blanked.....ah well i suppose it had to happen
and no photo's... by me anyway... check back the other two might post something up

Well i must say, cheers and thanks to the bunch of lads i've fished with over the few days, all from the forum, willing to meet a mad eejit like myself and yet all ended up learning something new by the end of the day....

It does seem that the soundest bunch of lads are fishermen.. All got one thing in common, the love of fish/fishing and any thing to do with the sport...
once again thanks lads.. really enjoyed it...

so the next question is.... who's next???

Cheers Steve, really enjoyed yesterday in spite of the rain and lack of lots of fish.... thanks for the masterclass in digging lug! Pete says to give you a ribbing about being the only one to blank so I guess you were right, he's better at fishing than digging bait...

Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!
